Things to do in Wilmslow

1.The Carrs Park Wilmslow

The Carrs Park is a popular park following the Bollin River with a circular walk of around a mile, plenty of paddling opportunities and a well-equipped playground for toddlers through to teens. The playground has swings, climbing structures, slides, and some unusual seesaws. It's located next to the car park on Chancel Lane where you can also often find an ice cream van for refreshments. There is also a skateboard and football park, a basketball ring and free tennis courts! So loads to do if you're up for it all, plus of course you can picnic, go on a minibeast safari, take bats and balls and kites and frisbees and cameras and sketchpads and alright maybe not all of that, but that's the joy of a day at the park, you can pretty much make it whatever you want it to be and it's free! Huzzah!

2.The Beech Tree Pub Wilmslow

Yummy food, lots of family-friendly offers and a warm welcome. The Beech Tree Pub is a great choice for lazy Sundays and evenings out. This pub is family run so they know what kids love. That includes secure indoor and outdoor play areas and in good weather… a bouncy castle! The stuff dreams are made of. This also means they do a great job with children’s holiday events and parties.

3.Wacky Warehouse - Waggon and Horses

Wacky Warehouse at the Waggon and Horses has plenty of colorful adventure play equipment crammed into a climbing maze that will entertain the kids aged 6 months to 10 years or up to 4ft9 for hours. Naturally, the play area includes a safe play zone for babies and toddlers too, offering soft construction materials, softly padded crawl space and several of the main frame features in miniature. There is good disabled access to the building and the toddler zone so push and wheelchair users are very welcome. Children are generally welcome until around 9 pm, and there is a healthy children's menu to choose from available whenever the kitchens are open. Plus they offer regular led arts and crafts sessions which tend to be a Drop-In nature and posted in advance on site. Best place for a family day out!
